
Every proposal for the election of a member, other than an Honorary Member, shall be made in writing on a form prescribed by the Council setting out the full name and address of the candidate and such other particulars as are required and shall be signed by a proposer and two seconders, none of whom shall be a Student member.

Once you have completed your details online, and downloaded your Proposal Form, you will receive an email message explaining the process forward.
When an application is received in the NZIOB Office , you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. Do not include a cheque for the entrance fee with your application as this amount will be included in your first subscription invoice if your application is successful.It is assessed by the relevant Chapter Committee and then by the Director of Membership. The applicant is advised if further information is required. If the initial assessor is not satisfied, the application may be passed to the next level and may be required to undergo an interview.
Once the application has been assessed it then placed before the NZIOB National Council Meeting, at the earliest opportunity, for approval. Subsequently, the applicant is advised of the result and confirmation of membership details by email, along with an invoice for any fees payable.
